When we moved into out house 8 years ago, we had known that there was a fire in the second bedroom before we moved in. It just so happened that I got that bedroom. Not that I minded... I have 2 sisters that have to share a room, and it was a major plus that I got my own room. My cat, Kitty Boo, sleeps on my bed every night because he's my best friend and most loyal pet. When I went to sleep one night, I had a dream about being in my room with my cat and a little girl came into my room. She tried to take Kitty Boo away from me, and of course, I had objections. She started screaming at my face, only it wasn't really screaming... she was sucking all of the air out of the room. I finally woke up gasping for air. I don't know if I had woken up because of lack of oxygen or because my cat had dug his claws into my stomach. He was hissing at the smoke alarm on the ceiling. I got up and got a drink of water and tried to clear my mind of that awful dream. When I went back to my room I saw what looked like a shadow of a little girl...only 3-D (like with volume and everything) ...standing under the smoke alarm. As you could probably imagine, I was scared out of my mind at the time and I went downstairs and watched Comedy Central until 4:30 AM when I finally went to sleep. The following nights I had the same dream, and every once in a while I would see a little girl dressed in white out of the corner of my eye. One night I started having the same dream and I wanted to change it so much, I made her stop taking my cat but I also asked her why she wanted him. She just started crying and crying, but her tears just turned into fire and burned us alive. When I woke up the next morning, I decided to find out what happened to her. I went across the street to ask the neighbors a few questions. They said a little girl named Anne had lived in our house and died in the fire that was in my room. She could have gotten out, but she went back inside of her room to try to retrieve her cat... only to perish by being engulfed in the flames.
That night I went to sleep and told her to go away and leave me and my cat alone. It was my cat, not hers and she had to live with that fact.... or die with it, whatever she was. She ALMOST started crying, or screaming, but I gave her a picture of my old cat, Mopet, that we had to give away. She smiled at me and said thank you. I haven't seen her since.
Which is very fine with Kitty Boo.
